Plourde, Alain

Alain Plourde studied jewellery at l’École Supérieure des Arts et Métiers de Montréal. In 1973, he became a scholar of Les Amis des Arts de Montréal. He participated in many exhibitions in Montreal, Quebec City and Ottawa. He was assessor of the Salon des métiers d'art de Montréal. Involved in the Laurentian arts community, he became vice-president founder of the Association des Artisans Professionnels. Since 1980, he installed his workshop-boutique in Mont-Tremblant, where he finds the conditions conducive to creativity.

The craftsman of long experience likes to be impregnated by the multidisciplinary design trends. In pure and harmonious lines, he creates works that meet various needs: both for an exclusive piece and small series, we will recognize sensitivity and talent at the service of his customers.
