Mayer, Denise et Pieter
Pieter was born in New York in 1933 and Denise in Montreal in 1940 and their paths crossed in Mexico in 1976.
Ansel Adams, one of the greatest American photographers of the last century who died in 1984 at the age of 82 years, which till that day, said that the digital world was a must to integrate with the art of photography. He explained that the photographic plate was never the feeling, the emotion of the moment and he spent weeks in his laboratory to send these magical moments that it had captured in black and white.
Denise and Pieter follow his advice with great enthusiasm and this artistic approach emerging amplifies the complicity they share, work and leisure since 35 years.
Since 2008, they participated in twenty exhibitions mainly in the Laurentians. In 2010 and 2011, the jury of the Maison des Arts et de la Culture Saint-Faustin awarded them the 1st prize of the new medium: Digital Arts.
